2008 olympic games will open the eyes of the world to what china can do.

两个全副武装的抢劫犯和美国警察在洛杉矶一条街道上的银行门口前展开一场血战。两个罪犯都穿了防弹衣，吃了可以减缓行动力的药片，这样可以在枪战时保持镇静。这次枪战的特别之处，在于罪犯的装备远远高于围剿的警察，可怜的警察被打得七零八落，伤势惨重，所幸没有死亡。经过将近一个小时的枪林弹雨之后，两个罪犯也都中弹，一个饮弹自杀，一个膝盖中21抢后流血殆尽死亡。这就是美国枪支自由的后果，这让美国的暴力发生的时候异常的惨烈和令人震惊。这让我想到了去年接连发生的美国校园枪击案。枪支的唾手可得，让那些愤世嫉俗的，心理严重扭曲的人有了可以痛快的报复社会的利器。可悲的是那些枪口下的无辜牺牲者。周围那些手无寸铁的无辜的人成了这些变态人的泄愤对象，可悲可叹。谁要对这些人负责？

Francis Bacon said in his article that that spends too much time on reading is sloth. And a Chinese sage refers to the same phenomenon as reading without thinking is efforts lost. A veritable intelligent reader will first of all be an efficient time- user. Unfortunately I am a lousy reader, spending most of the time on reading and getting the least from it. Now in hindsight, I have been frustrated by this defect of mine. The fact that you find your smart classmates devote less energy and less time on the courses but get the most satisfying results has mocking effects on your studies, even on your life, and most important, on your self-respect. When you find this, what is badly needed is to find a way out of this predicament as soon as possible.
